Saved and began living for Jesus during weeklong revival services in HARLINGEN
MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM, Harlingen, Texas. Rev. Gene Horton, Pastor First Baptist
Church of Rio Hondo, Texas conducting Revival services.
1972 through 1975
Preached twice a week at the Cameron County Jail, Thursdays with the Gideon’s
International, Friday evenings on my own as the Jail Staff allowed me about 15
minutes on each floor.
1975 through 1977 Attended NEW TRIBES BIBLE INSTITUTE,
Jackson, MI. January 1977 Graduated with BIBLE SCHOOL DIPLOMA.

Member of First Baptist Church Rio Hondo, Texas and During Full time Bible
School attendance member of Loomis Park Baptist Church Jackson, Michigan, Phil
Anthony, Pastor.

Began going once a month to JACKSON MICHIGAN STATE PRISON with “Men’s Full
Gospel Fellowship International” Chapel services and soul winning activities.

Placed as the Substitute 6 PM Training Union Youth Classes Teacher Loomis Park
Baptist Church during studies at New Tribes Missions, Jackson, MI.
1976 Established
the first weekly Tuesday evening Bible Study at the Jackson County
Juvenile Detention Hall, Jackson Michigan.
1977
Graduated and received Bible School Diploma NEW TRIBES MISSIONS, Jackson,
Michigan.

Attended NEW TRIBES MISSIONS Summer Foreign Missions Boot Camp, Durant
Mississippi.

Given Licensed to Minister, and to Preach by the First Baptist Church of Rio
Hondo Texas. Rev. Gene Horton, Pastor.
1977 through 1979
Returned to Cameron County Jail to preach the Gospel on a weekly basis Friday
evenings.
1978
For ˝ a year preached the Gospel on Christian Radio Terre Haute, Indiana.
1979
Joined First Baptist Church Weslaco Texas and was placed in the Substitute
Preacher position for Pastor Joe Cariker, when needed.
1980
Joined Central Baptist Church, Harlingen Texas and was given the Youth Ministry
and Teenagers Sunday Sunday_School Classes.
1977
Wrote English and Spanish Gospel Tract.
1979-1980 Published and began
distributing Gospel Tract and preaching in MEXICO with Interpreter Juan
Villarreal, H. Matamoros, MEXICO.
1884
Incorporated “Misiones de la Luz Del Evangelio y Avivamiento, Inc.” (Gospel
Light Missions & Revival) and began prayer ministry on the Internet: “AGAPE
PRAYER CHAPEL”.
1982-1987
Conducted Preaching Evangelistic Meetings throughout Tamaulipas MEXICO with
Interpreter Juan Villarreal.
1986
Was Conferred an Honorary Ordination by Rev. Juan Salinas, President of
Allianzas de Iglesias Pentecostales, Inc.
1986-1987
Purchased Japanese Baptist Church off of Military Hwy San Benito, Texas and held
Church services Sunday’s and Wednesdays.
1987
Discontinued Church in San Benito, Texas because of financial difficulties and
began Church in Ranch of Evangelist Benjamin Vela off of Hwy “Sendero” 15 miles
southwest of Matamoros, MEXICO.
1987-2006
Continued ministering as missionary at established Church in Rancho Casadoras
MEXICO with Evangelist and Pastor Benjamin Vela.
